Trip to Farmer Market on October 2008

Saturday, October 11 2008, mommy and daddy took me to the North Carolina Farm Fresh Farmers Market again. The farmers market located at 1201 Agriculture Street. Raleigh, NC 27603. It's been a while we didn't go there.




First visit is the area where they sell pumpkins. I am so exciting because so many pumpkins there. This is the first year I see this. So I leave mommy and daddy and just run into pumpkins.
I find the one that I like, it is bigger than me. I try to carry it but so heavy. Mommy and daddy think the pumpkin is heavier than me.

Hmmmm ... I like this one ...

Let me think, how we can take this one home.

God, please help me to find the strength to carry it .... uuuuurrrrrgggghhhhhh

May be this position is better, it is suggested by mover association hehehe ...
Urrrgggghhhhh after several attempts mommy think it is the time to move on.

I think this one is more my size ... let me try to carry it.

Well, I am wrong still to heavy for me to carry to the car.

This one is my perfect size but I don't like their color, skin type or shape ... daddyyyyy

Well, time to move into pretty mums ... they are yellow .....

Upsss I got distracted... let me check this $5 pumpkin .. they look OK and they line up so nice on the floor..

Hmmm let me continue my inspection to the pumpkin ...

Daddy I like that one... full with decorations.

Uuuu pretty flower ... let me touch it ..

Then of we go to Archer Lodge Herb Farm that belong to Ms. Deeva and Ms. John King. We always visit them every time we go to Farmers Market. They are very nice. Mr. John plant ruku-ruku for mommy one time. She brought the seed from Indonesia and cannot plant it. Until one day she meet Mr. John King and ask him to plant it. After that every time mommy want to make "Ikan Pangek" food she always have plenty stock of ruku-ruku.

For you who are not from Indonesia, Ikan Pangek is a very spicy fish soup dishes from West Sumatra.

I am doing an inspection with Mr. John behind me. Then continue with interview with Ms. Deeva and Mr. John in their rocking chair.



I love this rocking chair ... I enjoy rocking on it.

Time to take a picture with Mr. John King. This is the best mommy can get.

Then I play again with the rocking chair.

Yes, Mr. John my shoes have fire truck on it and blinking. Mommy loves shoes and I loves shoes too.

Enough with the rocking chair and chatting with you guys ... Let me continue my inspection.

They have so many cool plants. I've seen everything and now time to go.

Well, this mums are every where and I cannot stop myself to touch the texture of it.

Thank you daddy, this way I will not so distracted by so many things ... plant... pumpkins... people ....



This way is my favorite ... I am so high .. I can see everything ..

Before we leave we stop at mommy favorite produce place. But this time mommy didn't by anything because daddy will be out of town on Saturday so nobody will eat her food.
Well, I eat but not much because I am a little boy.

This bird house look so awesome. The bird look so real and amazed me.

This chimes too but we cannot take it home because it is not match our porch.

I am so tired today but I have a great time.
